Fix Instagram Stories Music Not Working
1. Update the Instagram app
One of the most common reasons for Instagram Stories music not working is that you’re not using the latest version of the app. To check for updates, open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for Instagram. If an update is available, tap Update.
2. Restart your phone
Sometimes, a simple restart can fix glitches that are causing problems with apps. To restart your phone, hold down the power button until you see a menu. Then, tap Restart.
3. Check your internet connection
Instagram Stories music needs an internet connection to work. Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data.
4. Clear your Instagram app cache
Clearing your app cache can help fix problems with Instagram Stories music. To clear your app cache, go to Settings > Apps > Instagram. Then, tap Storage > Clear Cache.
5. Reinstall the Instagram app

6. Check if the Music sticker is enabled

7. Report a problem to Instagram
If you’ve tried all of the other solutions and you’re still having trouble with Instagram Stories music, you can report a problem to Instagram. To do this, go to Profile > Settings > Help > Report a Problem. Then, tap Report a Problem and select I can’t add music to my Story.
