A common problem with Yahoo Mail is that some users have problems logging into non-Yahoo apps. How to fix this:

  • On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari.
  • Go to https://mail.yahoo.com.
  • Click Account Information and Account Security.
  • And activate “Allow applications that use less secure connections”.

If you still have this problem, you can contact Yahoo, there may be a service outage, which means that the Yahoo mail server may be down.

Another thing you should consider is to start using the Yahoo Mail app instead of the iOS Mail app. You can go to the App Store and download and install the Yahoo Mail app.
